A pious person conquers a tiger because he is patient with his wife's bad morals
There are for some of the previous pious people (Zaid) who had a pious brother (Umar) who used to visit him once a year. Then Umar came to visit Zaid again and knocked on his door.
Then Zaid's wife asked, "Who is this?". Umar replied, "Your husband's brother".
Then Zaid's wife said in reply, "He went to get wood, hopefully Allah does not return him home". Furthermore, the wife continued to babble reproaching her husband.
When the incident took place, suddenly Zaid came with a tiger carrying his firewood. Zaid lowered the wood from the tiger's back and said Zaid to the tiger, "Go, may Allah's blessings be with you".
Then Zaid invited Umar to enter after welcoming him, then served food.
Umar also said goodbye in a state of great admiration from Zaid's patience in dealing with his wife's bad behavior, but he never answered or reciprocated his wife's bad treatment.
Umar visited again in the second year to Zaid's house, then knocked on his door. Zaid's wife appeared and asked, "Who is this?". Umar replied, "Your husband's brother, come to visit".
Said Zaid's wife, "Welcome". The wife praised her husband very much, while asking Umar to wait for Zaid's arrival.
Zaid came with firewood on his back. Then Zaid invited Umar in and served food.
When Umar wanted to separate, he asked Zaid what he had seen (Last year the wood was brought by the tiger and this year the wood was brought by himself). Zaid replied, "O my brother. The wife who has bad morals has died, I am patient with her ugliness. Because of my patience, Allah swt melted the tiger to me. Meanwhile, I am currently marrying a pious woman, and I am happy with her. So the tiger stopped from submitting to me, so I had to carry the wood myself on my back.”
