Two Light Practices Get Heaven Guaranteed
A Muslim must believe in the existence of heaven and hell. Whatever he does in this world must have an impact on his continued life in this world and in the hereafter. Good deeds must be rewarded well, as well as bad deeds must be rewarded for their ugliness. This is as the Word of Allah swt as follows:
Meaning: Whoever does good as heavy as an dzarrah, surely he will see (reply) it. And whoever does a crime as big as dzarrah.
Meaning: It is mentioned in the book of Sunan Abi Dawud, at-Tirmidhi, an-Nasa'i, from 'Abdillah bin Umar Radliyallahu Anhuma, from the Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam, he said: 'There are two things if a Muslim takes care of it then he will enter heaven. Two things are easy but few people do. That is reading tasbih, tahmid, and takbir, each 10 times after every fard prayer. If the total number of readings is 150 times in speech and 1,500 good deeds in the scales of charity. Reading takbir 34 times, tahmid and tasbih each 33 times before going to bed. If the total becomes 100 times in speech and 1,000 goodness in the scales.'
After hearing the hadith of the Prophet simultaneously, the companions then asked: 'Why are two things that are easy, but few do it?' Then Rasulullah SAW explained in the continuation of his hadith:
Meaning: Satan comes to one of you while sleeping. Satan put him to sleep before he read the dhikr (tasbih, tahmid, and takbir). And he (Satan) comes in his prayer and then reminds his intentions before he reads the dhikr. The hadith of the hadith is authentic. (Syekh Nawawi, Al-Adzkar).
From the above hadith, it can be explained that there are very light practices that seem to be carried out, but in practice very few are able to carry them out. This is as stated by the Prophet that the devil continues to try to make people neglect to do this light practice.
The two practices are:
- Reading Tasbih, Tahmid, and Takbir, each 10 (ten) times after each prayer.
- Reading Tasbih 34 times, Tahmid 33 times, and Takbir 33 times before going to bed.
The editors of Tasbih, Tahmid, and Tabir are as follows :
