The Story of Parents Died Rich Sent From Their Living Children
One day a scholar dreamed of meeting with grave experts. In his dream he saw grave experts fighting and picking up various scattered gifts. Not long after he saw there was one person who was sitting indifferently not at all tempted by the various valuables that were being fought over. This pious person was surprised and curious.
"Why don't you just keep quiet like they took the stuff?" asked the pious to the person.
When asked that question, he immediately replied that those who were busy were taking 'packages' from Muslims who prayed for the grave experts in the form of reading the Qur'an, alms and prayers. "I don't need the 'gift' myself because I already have it all," the man replied firmly.
"Where did you get those things from?" asked the pious who was more curious.
"I have a child who sells cakes in the market, every day he always sends readings of the Qur'an and prayers to me," he answered.
Not long after, the pious woke up from his sleep and everything that happened in his dream was so vividly remembered that he finally decided to visit the market and look for someone who sells cakes. The pious departed for the market and it didn't take long to find a cake seller there. The hunch of this pious person is getting stronger when he sees the mouth of this cake seller constantly moving as if he is reading something. "I can see that your mouth hasn't stopped moving, may I know what you're reading?" asked the pious man.
"Oh, I'm reading the Koran and it was sent especially for my dead parents," he replied.
The answer was quite satisfactory for the pious because what the cake seller said was related to the dream he had yesterday.
The Proof of Reaching the Reward of Reading the Qur'an on Mayyit
Some time later, this pious dream again as before, but something was different. He saw people who used to just sit quietly, are now also picking up 'gifts' with other grave experts. The pious did not have time to communicate, because the person looked so busy.
When he woke up from his sleep, the pious was a little confused until he finally decided to return to meet the cake seller at the market. But when he arrived at the market, the pious did not find the cake seller because according to the information obtained, the cake seller who at that time was always moistening his lips with the recitation of the Qur'an had died. Finally, the pious concluded that the person who in the first dream was just sitting and then in the second dream was busy fighting over the 'gift' had no longer received prayers from his son.
